Hygrometer placement for brie

I'm trying to make brie, but the changing humidity is messing with the mold. I want to keep it around 92–95%, but I'm not sure where to put the hygrometer. Should it go in the box, by the cheese, or outside? Also, would a bigger box help keep the humidity more stable?

@theblueveindre4m Put the hygrometer right in the box near the cheese, since that's the environment that really matters. A bigger box can help keep things steadier, but make sure there's still some airflow.

@theblueveindre4m yep, you definitely nned to put the hygrometer right next to the cheese, ideally resting on the mat or rack near the surface.
The air inside the box isn't homogenous, it's the microclimate right at the rind that matters most for mold growth. If the hygrometer is touching the cheese, it'll give a false reading, but placing it on the box floor is too far away.
Also, make sure it's a calibrated digital hygrometer, as cheap analogs are usually inaccurate at high humidity
