Trying old hobbies agan this year

Now that the New Year rush is behind us, I’m trying to pick a skill that’ll actually stick. Last year I tried learning calligraphy, but my handwriting still looks like a doctor’s prescription. Thinking of giving it another shot this year.Anyone else revisiting a skill they abandoned?

I'm actually doing the exact same thing with French. I realized I quit last year because I tried to study for an hour a day.
This time, I'm promising myself just 5 minutes. Maybe try doing just one line of calligraphy a day. It’s amazing how much stickier a skill is when you make the daily goal ridiculously small
