I’m trying to make ricotta this weekend and realized I don’t have any proper molds. I’ve got a bunch of small yogurt cups, can I poke holes and use those??Would love to hear what others use when they’re short on supplies!

Absolutely! I’ve been there. I used cleaned-out yogurt cups with holes poked in the bottom and sides and they worked surprisingly well! Just make sure the holes aren’t too big so the curds don’t slip through. I thinkl Ricotta’s pretty forgiving, I just have fun with it!

Love that DIY hack! Yogurt cups are a clever hack. Do you usually stick with homemade molds, or have you tried any store‑bought ones for comparison?
