my buddy owns a bar so i hang out with a lot of bartenders and now their drink ideas are messin with my cheesemaking got this experiment goin in my cave right now based on a shot called a puerto rican hooker tequila shot then a shot of pickle juice sounds wild but its big with the bar crowd anyway i tried makin cheese inspired by that soaked the curd in tequila then brined it in some kinda pickle brine now its aging in my cave for like a month and a half if this works out like my irish curd bomb i might just be onto somethin big

Sorry for jumping in late. Mixing tequila with pickle brine can add some seriously cool flavors to your drink, but keep an eye on how the alcohol and acidity play out while it ages. It can really change the vibe of the culture, you know? So, just be mindful of those little details while you experiment

Dang thats some wild experiment. A month and a half aging should start developing some interesting tang, curious how the tequila and brine balance out in the final cheese.

That's pretty wild, but honestly, it's brilliant! The acidity in tequila could act a lot like wine does when it comes to aging cheese, and that pickle brine is really going to add a unique twist. Plus, the salt content should play a role in keeping things fresh. Given how well you nailed that Irish curd bomb, it's clear you've got a knack for this, if it turns out well, this could definitely become the next cult favorite cheese

Okay, I get it. Tequila and pickle brine? That's a cool and different combo. And hey, since you made the Irish curd bomb, you might have another hit on your hands with this one.

That sounds crazy! Well, in a fun way! I've tried adding flavors to my cheese before, but nothing as strong as tequila and pickle juice. Did the curds feel different after soaking? Are you making it firm or soft? I wonder how the tequila affects the good bacteria while it ages.
