I'm hoping to get some help finding a recipe for blueberry cheese. My grandma bought some last Christmas and really loved it, so I would love to make it for her this year as a gift. I've never made cheese before so I'm looking for a recipe that's not too complicated. Do you have any recipes you would be willing to share? Would love to try them.

You could start with a simple blueberry cream cheese spread. It's just cream cheese, fresh or frozen blueberries, a little honey, and lemon juice. Simmer the berries into a sauce, mix it all together, and let it chill. Do you remember if your grandma's had more of a sweet dessert vibe or was it something she ate with toast?

thoughtful idea. If I were in your shoes I would start with a simple no bake blueberry cheesecake because it is beginner friendly and does not require special gear. You mix cream cheese with sugar, fold in whipped topping, add a blueberry layer, then chill it. It looks fancy but is not difficult.

If you’re new to cheesemaking, try a no-rennet soft cheese like cream cheese or chèvre first. Once it firms up a bit, swirl in some crushed blueberries or jam. Blueberries have a lot of juice, so drain them well or the cheese can get runny. Makes a great spread for toast or dessert boards.

I’m intrigued! I only ever had blueberry cheesecake, so blueberry cheese sounds like a whole new level. Was it something you spread on crackers or more like a dessert? I love to know what it looked like too! Does it have purple swirls?
